Forum Adult Carrot Costume

Pro: everyone loved the costume. Con: NONE!! Helpful hints for everyone who is getting one: 1) get string and make 2 holes on the inside of the hat so the top (the green leaves) can stay on your head without falling or messing your nice hair. 2) the front opening is big. I am 5’ so the front of the costume kept going forward and I kept bumping to people as I couldn’t see them next to me. FIX —> take some string and tie it to the front opening and tie it on the back your head as if it was a mask. 3) buy velcro and put bigger pieces on the back. The costume kept opening in the back every time I got down to pick up something which was all the time picking up candy rappers.

After reading the reviews, I decided to order the one size fits all for my son that is 5ft 3. He tried it on last night and it fits perfect and the little elastic cap around the head part keeps everything in place perfectly. I did have an orange t shirt that he is wearing under it, because the hole is a bit large for his head, but it's still great. He loves it because it's not too hot, easy to put on and off and is comfortable. This pic is right out of the box and he loved it!

I bought this for Halloween one year and I now wear it skiing. Pros: -Nice insulating layer -Bright orange is easy to spot -Grants extreme levels of stoke to the wearer -Internal head band is nice and usually keeps it on your head -Easy to slip on and off, even over helmets, harnesses, etc. Cons: -Foam is starting to come apart (3 years later) -The stalks don't really look like the photo -The top of the carrot sorta sags around your shoulders, doesn't stay as pert as the photo -Small children will sometimes chase you down mountains and tell you they will put you in a stew. -The face hole is pretty big, not as small as the photo TLDR: good for $25 if you want to look like a carrot but quality is what you should expect from a cheap costume. The pic was taken during a day of skiing by an Austrian tourist who said they had never seen anything quite like me before. Thank you, Lukas.

I mean, it's a giant carrot costume. It's not flattering, and it's not supposed to be. I bought this to ensure that I would be the most idiotic costume at the party and it worked beautifully! It was easy to move around in, and not too hot. The top leaves were a bit funky at first, but i realized they are wire lined so you can maneuver them around to get the balance right. I loved it. You might want to hang it up for a few days/weeks before using it, or iron/steam it to get some of the wrinkles out. Otherwise it is identical to the picture...a giant stupid carrot.

Wore this for a Halloween party. Everyone knew I was a carrot, so it did its job. It was just annoying to wear and I was looking forward to the end of the evening so I could stop wearing it. I'm 6'1" about 185lbs, and I felt like this was made for someone much larger. The arm holes didn't line up well, the top would not really stay on my head (it kept sliding and needing to be adjusted), and the whole thing felt baggy. There is some velcro on the back so its easy to get on, but they only have a single dedicated spot to attach at. Meaning you can't make the costume tighter or looser, it is what it is. For the price, I think 3 stars is fair. I was recognizable and the costume is still intact and could be used again.

Surprised at the quality of material. I thought it was gonna be some really thin and flimsy material, but turned out to be pretty thick material and sturdy. Everything fit well, although I will say the green leaf of the carrot was a little awkward and kind laid flat down instead of sticking up like the picture. It wasn't really a big deal, I'm sure a craft person could figure out a way to prop it up with something like toothpicks. But for me it didn't matter. Went trick or treating with the wife and daughter. My wife went as a bunny, so it only made sense that I was a carrot. Got many comments from other trick or treaters saying how cute, clever, or funny it was. If your going with a loved one who's dressed as bunny, can't go wrong with this costume.

It was stained in multiple areas, the custome must've been used by a few other people before being sent to me. It smelled like B.O

Great product for the price. Fabric is lightweight. Easy and fun to wear. Carrot greens can be adjusted to position. Face opening is very large. We pinned it closed after donning. Product received was the product we expected ... acceptable!

This fancy dress will always turn heads.. great fun! Great product!
