Do these taste like almonds? I'm not a fan and have never tried almond flour, so I'm hoping they don't taste like nuts. Thanks for your help!

Hello Nancy! Thank you for your inquiry. While our crackers are made from almond flour, we don't feel as though the crackers taste like almonds. The black pepper crackers for example are deliciously savory with moderately spicy kick!

For the manufacturer: Why do you use an unhealthy oil like sunflower oil in an otherwise very healthy and good product?!

It's true not not all sunflower oil is created equal, however sunflowers are one of the plants prone to be high in heavy metals if they're grown in polluted ground. So as a follow-up question I would like to know if the manufacturer considered this and if they would please provide a link to the heavy metal testing they have done on this product. Otherwise it's too risky to eat any sunflower oil product, at least for those of us who practice the precautionary principle.

I’m not even gluten-intolerant but I really like these crackers! I got them when my mom was visiting and loved them so much I just keep buying them-they’re a hearty cracker-nice and salty treat without wheat and the almond flour is actually a great alternative. They’re crunchy without being too hard, they have a beautiful snap-not too thick not too bland! Yummy, mild salted crackers that cut out the wheat-a welcome, happy break for any digestion!
