Malibu C Hard Water Wellness Shampoo - Hydrating, Sulfate-Free Hair Care for Hard Water - Removes Minerals and Buildup

I purchased the Malibu C Hard Water Wellness Shampoo specifically as a chelating shampoo to help remove hard water buildup, and it has worked really well for that purpose. After using it, I can clearly tell a difference in the texture of my hair — it feels cleaner, lighter, and less weighed down. I only use this about once every 6 weeks as part of a clarifying routine, and it does a great job without over-drying my hair. Compared to other chelating or clarifying shampoos I’ve tried, this one feels less harsh while still being effective. It also has a pleasant scent and lathers nicely, which makes it easy to work through the hair evenly. Overall, this is a great option for removing mineral buildup from hard water, especially if you want something effective but still gentle enough for occasional use.

Great product!! It removed the yellow water stains from my white hair and keeps the yellowing out...Gentle enough to use every day.. I use both shampoo and conditioner!! Great product!!

OMG I have had a really good haircare routine with almost no split ends before moving to AZ but not even a year after i moved here, my hair started to get split ends , tangled really easily, and dry despite not using heat in my hair, & having expensive, well researched products. I was debating on getting a shower filter but realized they do little for actual hard water. After just ONE wash with this shampoo my hair felt so different!! Its waaay softer & didnt tangle as much. Hopefully it helps with my split ends. Im very impressed. A little also goes a long way! I have long hair (almost 24”) thats also on the thicker end & didnt think this would last but i barely used any product.

I never leave reviews but I have to brag about this product! I’ve been showering with well water for awhile now and have never had any issues with my hair. We recently moved into our first house and since then my hair has been terrible!! After I would shower and my hair would dry it would be slimy and straw like. Greasy and dry if that makes sense. I thought I had no other options until I literally googled what would help. Did very little research and bought this shampoo on a whim. I just took my first shower with it and my hair is AMAZING. The softest it has been in awhile I am shocked! I used the shampoo and my own conditioner and it worked wonders so happy it worked definitely recommend! My only complaint and why I gave it 4 stars is the packaging was poor. Some of it leaked out of the bottle which is disappointing but still worth the purchase

Malibu C Hard Water Wellness Shampoo leaves my hair soft and nice. I am very pleased. The last time I ordered it to have on hand it turned out the product was similar but a conditioner for which I had no use. I am very pleased this time the shampoo I wanted was sent.

The shampoo arrived as ordered. The pump provides ease of use. My hair feels so clean after I use it.

I’ve really liked the smell and effectiveness of the shampoo but when I received it the cap wasn’t fastened all the way and it had been on it’s side so a portion of it leaked onto the other products I bought

This stuff WORKS! I had mineral/product build up in my hair that I could not get out. I tried clarifying shampoos from Pantene and Ouai. I was desperate and tried dawn dish-soap only on the spot that felt waxy. Nothing worked. I was getting so frustrated because my hair was heavy and I’d scrub it with shampoo and it would still feel like my hair was dirty. So…I asked AI and it recommended this product. Literally. I just shampooed and dried it and my hair feels SO clean and weightless! It was the only thing that got out that waxy feeling stuck in my hair! No more grease and grime! Just a warning though: I would only use this shampoo as a treatment, NOT use this as your primary shampoo. It’s good to keep on hand and use it once every few months or whenever product/mineral build up happens, but because this works so well, it would probably end up drying out your hair if you used this as your primary shampoo. Fragrance: it smells fruity! I could understand that I might be too fragrant for some people. To me, it doesn’t smell overbearing. It’s also not a light, barely-there smell. It’s kind of in the middle when it comes to the level of fragrance.
