Green Bell Stainless Steel Luxury Nail Clipper with Metal Catcher

I recently bought a slightly larger nail clipper specifically for trimming toenails, and it turned out to be a great choice. The blades are very precise, and when I trim my nails, the cut is so clean that I don’t even need to use a nail file afterward. The overall build quality is also excellent and feels very solid. I especially like the thoughtful design feature that helps prevent nail clippings from scattering—it’s easy to attach and remove, which makes it very convenient to use. Overall, this feels like a well-designed and smart product that I’m really satisfied with.

Always used store bought clippers from places like CVS/Walgreens/Rite Aid. Clippers have always been less than $5. Went down a nail clipper rabbit hole and settled for the Green Bell G-1305 as it had a magnetic nail catcher and it was an all metal build. Let me say these are the greatest nail clippers I’ve ever used in terms of performance. Takes absurdly very little pressure to make cuts. The cuts are very precise and clean. There is no wiggle in the pusher as it’s pinned in place. The magnetic nail catcher is just over engineered in a good way and works very well. I didn’t say anything to my wife about these, just told her to try them. Her response was an eye raise accompanied by a “wow”. That is what you’re getting with these. You’re getting “wow”. Will plain old nail clippers from the local pharmacy work? Yes. But buying this clipper equates to buying high quality tools. The precision, fit and finish, and performance from high quality tools are value added benefits that aren’t always apparent until the tool is used and handled in person. If I had anything negative to say, it would be that i can’t just throw them into my clipper bin! I’m going to want to baby these to keep them in the best shape!

I purchased these as a replacement for my almost 30 year old pair of Solingen nail clippers which were a kind of basic shape that was not so comfortable or secure to hold when trimming my nails, and probably due to it's age fails to cut my nails well. After some research online I chose Green Bell G-1305. Wow, just excellent! - Very sharp, excellent cut quality and easy to cut too. - Comfortable and secure in use - Nail file is excellent - Nail clippings catcher is excellent - Overall it is a well made high quality item The nail catcher is something that I liked for the convenience of catching the clippings, but I thought it would be a bit of a clumsy add-on. However it is stainless steel, really well made, and fits securely in place with a small magnet. It is easily removed over a rubbish bin to empty out the clippings. If you tip up or shake the clippers before you empty the catcher then yes some small clippings are likely to fall out through the open clipper jaws but I found that if I was careful to avoid doing this then the catcher works really well. So it's a big thumbs up for me!

In the same way a samurai draws his blade only when necessary, these clippers sit unassumingly until called into action. Then, clean, swift, exact. Executing their task with a satisfying finality. Delivers a smooth cut every time.

Nice and sharp clipper. A bit big so best for toenail vs fingernail. You need to take off the part that contains the nail debris if you need to reach/cut the both ends of your nail, however.

Want to be a distinguished ape and stand out from the rest of the gorillas? Trim yo dang nails. Most nail clippers shoot your fanger clippins all over the place bc they dull as hail, but this... naw man, this is where it's at. Sharp as a katana; it'll cut thru yo raggedy, nasty fanger nails like butter. Worth the money. Pony up sucker, we clipping them nails.

These nail clippers are absolutely incredible. I didn't even know that my old ones were bad until someone recommended these during my trip to Japan. They clip nails so effortlessly and the nail catcher is truly magical. I cannot recommend these enough.

These are supposed to be fingernail clippers but the cutting area is as wide as toenail clippers and difficult to get into the fingernail corners. I suppose I'll get used to them. I cut my nails with them and none of the clippings went into the catch tray. But they are definitely sharp. Nice design, very sturdy.

I did a lot of research before getting these and there's some discrepancy about Green Bell vs Mr. Green and that it's the same company but offering different tiers of quality. They're not the same as Mr. Green is a Chinese brand and Green Bell is Japanese with a history of making blades (actual swords). These are incredibly sharp clippers that have no issues with thicker nails. I'm not sure why some reviewers say they're oversized or for toes, they're definitely for hands and are just slightly larger then more brands for the cutting area. The magnetic catch tray is a nice idea in theory but it slides up when you're using them and blocks the lower cutting area... So it's kinda useless. The quality of the whole unit is unreal and I came understand why most consider this a buy once and never need another in your lifetime. I've wasted money on midrange nail clippers from $10-$20 and they all fall apart within a year. The second you see and use this, you'll understand why they're th best.

リピということではありません。でも二つ目です。 以前のはサイズはS相当なのか、歯のカーブがきつい。足の爪が切りにくいので今回は大きめ（Lかな）を購入です。歯のカーブが緩やかなので足の親指も両端を切りすぎることは無くなりました。ヨシ。 パチンという感触で切れるのではなく、どちらかというと少し鈍くコツンと切れます。でも歯が鈍くて切れないのではなく支点、力点、作用点の関係が弾く感じではないということだと感じました。 ご指摘が多かったヤスリの位置。裏から表に移動しましたが幅が狭いのできちんと当てないと削りにくいです。裏面についているタイプはカバーが邪魔なのかなと思います。これは利用せず別の爪切りのヤスリを利用することにします。 切った爪の受けのカバーの効力。こちらは金属です。取り外しはしやすいです。 どんなカバーがあっても爪切りの歯の両端に凹みがあるので弾んで出ることはあります。気になる方はテープ等を貼って飛び出しを防ぐといいと思います。
