***Skip to the 3rd paragraph if you want to skip the back story I've been dealing with unsightly lips that have extra skin since 2007, before then, I was barely self conscious on a physical level. Once I became self conscious, I noticed how many people licked their lips and that was a huge realization to me. Thugs, teachers, toddlers, tv stars, and everyone was constantly concerned with that part of appearance. From the 4 years of dealing with this issue, I see there are three main parts when it comes to people and their lips :1. appearance 2.texture 3.how you feel. As with any self conscious issue, there are good days and bad days. There is also the issue of being comfortable regardless of what you're issue is. I found that times when my lips appeared to look "good," they felt dry or when they felt "good," they would look slighlty to really unsightly. There aren't many times when I get a good appearance and texture on the same day, but when I do, I feel really really good. I could just be comfortable and carefree. The main method I discovered in order to live with this self consciousness is self acceptance, neosporin first aid ointment, and daily exfoliation. Exfoliation is just removal of dead skin that EVERYONE has on their lips. If you exfoliate too much and with too much intensity (BAD BAD BAD), you will expose deeper layers of skin on your lip and nothing can "instantly" heal your lips except time and patience. Some have more dead skin than others though. I have more. I would put neosporin first aid ointment on my lips at night to aid the body's natural repairing process and by the morning, the dead skin came off with little to no effort (hot showers and washing face first in the morning helps loosen skin even more). I DO NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO USE NEOSPORIN FIRST AID OINTMENT ON THEIR LIPS, but it was the ONLY thing that worked on a consistent basis for ME. Doing this doesn't mean my lips always appeared and felt "perfect" but it did help my lips heal faster and look much better. Once I saw this product in a TV commercial, I was excited to see if it actually worked. I already believed it did because it was like the neosporin first aid ointment, except specifically designed for lips. After 3 days, it healed my lips just like the neosporin first aid ointment would and excess dead skin came off with ease. The active ingredients are diff for this overnight lip health and the neosporin first aid ointment, for obvious reasons, yet they both are effective. The only one I advise you to use is this overnight lip health. This isn't a proactive commercial. It isn't a miracle worker. It won't make you or your lips look like Angelina or Brad Pitt, but it helps and it works. It also doesn't mean you can stop hiding your lips with your hand while in class, on a bus, or while having a close convo, but you should feel more confident. I don't like the fact that I have to worry about such a small issue such as how my lips appear, but since I do and since it is important for me to feel comfortable, I'll take all the effective help I can get. Yes this review is way too long but YES you should buy this product. And it's a pack of 4. Stop thinking, buy it and try it.

I've found that this works wonders for lip repair! It is not really moisturizing, many times when I have severely chapped lips and I put this on before bed I wake up the next morning and my lips don't feel moisturizing sometimes even a little dry but they are no longer chapped at all! The first time I used this my 18 month had Really bad chapped lips but would not keep anything on them at all. I could only keep anything on them while she was asleep and that short time was not enough to heal them so I decided to try this out! By the time I went out and bought this her lips were so bad she had a deep Bloody split in the middle of her lips! After one night with her lip was no longer bleeding after 3 nights the deep split she had was completely healed and no longer visible at all! I had been using tons of other products (Vaseline, carmax, Chap sticks, etc) and it only being on at night it had made no difference and her lips where bleeding all day long! But after just 1 night with this her lips were almost healed! This does contain very simple ingredients but it is the only thing I have found that has such fast and drastic results! Wonderful for kids who don't want anything on their lips because all they need is a little on after they are already asleep and it works wonders!

This is by far the best and only lip treatment I use. It penetrates and gently removes dry skin over night, and keeps your lips moisturized without the oily mess. I also find that anytime I have an allergic reaction to something that I've eaten, it prevents my lips from weeping or getting red and bumpy.

I have been using this product exclusively every night for at least a year. For years I have lived with dry cracked skin on my bottom lip in both corners. No More!! My lips are soft and lipstick does not 'bleed' into the cracks! I have purchased this product for family members who live in harsh winter climates and suffer from dry cracked skin. I have tried countless other products over the years and never found anything that lived up to its claims except NEOSPORIN.. This is extremely reasonably priced and you won't find a better product on the market!

My daughter goes to school in CO where they are at very high altitudes , change in weather can be 4 seasons in one day !!! She get severely chapped lips this works amazing on them !!

This has been an excellent product for my lips at bedtime. My lips don't feel overly dry when I put this on before bed. I will say the one downside was getting use to the amount you need. A little goes a long way. I had an excess the first few times I used the product until I got use to it.

I do wish there was a better container, as it can be really hard to get in there once it gets low. It’s also just a tad small for the price, but it works wonders!

This is hands down the best lip product I have ever used for severely chapped lips. Slather it on overnight and the next morning your issue will have done. It’s great - we have one in every room in the house now :)
