Actually worked! (with sum upgrades)
Had pry bar, screwdrivers, tire iron, multiple hammers. Hammered on the 2011 sonata fuel pump lock from every possible angle for an hour... Then another hour the next day. Then ANOTHER 20 minutes after letting it soak in wd-40 overnight. Did NOT want to risk other's failure, by breaking the cheap screws that come with it, making the tool useless when the bolt gets stuck with no head. So i replaced the screws before even trying to use it. Got it dialed in, aaaand... It STILL wouldn't budge with a large 3/8" ratchet wrench!!! Finally had to bust out the 36" breaker bar, that i rarely use, and it FINALLY came loose! YES! Still took a long while to get the old pump out and the new one in. Like it's intentionally designed to just baaaarely fit, in one awkward angle

Complete garbage
Worthless and useless. Didn't work to save nothing. Save your money and go else where. Thanks to this pos device I couldn't get the job done and had to waste $700 at the shop Thank a lot!

Works great!
I needed this tool to wrap up the install of a fuel pump on a Mini Cooper. The other tool I had was not up to the job as it only had two fingers. This tool has three adjustable fingers to get a better grip on the lock ring. Installation of the fingers was easy and you can use a Phillips screwdriver or a socket to tighten the fingers. Once done, simply use your breaker bar and tighten. It works better with someone holding the fingers down while you tighten. Then you hear that loud, satisfying "click" and you are done! Materials are very good and heavy duty. These will last you a lifetime of wrenching, with the exception of the lockdown screws, but those are easily replaced.

Did what it needed to do!!!
If your looking at this removal tool it’s because your fed up with trying to get off the ring. Soak the ring in a good penetrating oil (not regular wd40) and let it soak in. I had to soak for a couple hours . Give the ring some taps so it breaks the hold of the rust. Take your time and find a good holding fit for this tool on the ring then apply all your might. It will free up and start to turn. Make sure you have the arms in the right position. I found using only two arms in the middle instead of all three was the trick for me. It may be a cheap tool, But it worked on a salty winter 140k mile 2011 sonata…. Money well spent.

Smallest is 5" NOT 4 1/2"
Purchased this to remove fuel tank ring on a 2002 Camaro SS (4 1/2" ring) and due to the design, the smallest you can ACTUALLY get the tool is 5". The idea is great, but because of the rounded ends of the tool slots, the rectangular finger mounts will not slide to 4 1/2", which is what I needed. Fortunately, it's cheap, so I'll return the 2nd one, and just grind the slot a bit longer to make the thing work.

right tool for the job
got the part today and replace my fuel pump this evening. It comes with three prongs, but also works with installing just two. My vehicle is a 2004 Saab 9-5. Used two of the prongs - installed them and set them in the ring for the fuel pump and tightened the screws. They stayed tight and easily unscrewed the cap to the fuel pump.
