I very rarely leave a comment on products. I usually just read reviews and decide what if I want something. However, I had to come back and leave a review for this matcha powder!! I spent a couple of days searching for a good affordable brand of matcha as I had never drank it before and I didn't want to waste money. I was looking for a pure ceremonial grade matcha that didn't taste bad. I wanted it for the health benefits and this powder delivereddd!! - great taste. A little grassy but not bad at all -made my skin glow within a week - made my digestion better especially when I mix it with hot water -gave me calm energy for the whole day - great affordable price for the amazing quality you are getting here! - keeps me full when I mix it with some protein powder. Has helped me feel lighter within a week so maybe it will help lose weight - jar filled to the top so worth the money Thank you! I will be a loyal costumer for sure!

Omg guys! 😭😍✨ First time ADHD matcha drinker here, buckle up, it's gonna be a long one 😅 A little backstory: I have combined type ADHD and tried vyvanse (it was perfect) but it made my heart rate too high so I had to stop taking it, I trialed others but they were either less effective/ineffective or had awful side effects - this completely devastated me 🥲 Having trialed Vyvanse and had such life-saving, positive effects from taking it and being told I had to discontinue use made me determined to find an alternative in the plant/Ayurvedic medicine world; try I did, and after maybe 30 or more supplements tried, I hadn't found anything that does the exact same job of Vyvanse except for high does of coffee or energy drinks (green monster specifically) but those all came with really negative consequences and made me anxious and or jittery with mega palpitations.... Well.. Enter this freaking matcha! 😭😍😭 My god, SUCCESS! Firstly, this is bright green, packed to the brim as everyone else has stated and definitely is of higher quality (a matcha professional has verified this for me!) but, it does infact have an ever so slightly fishy smell and taste but I was told that water temperature can also effect this (I made it with water at 151°f which is apparently way too hot and should be at 130-140°f Max or 80°c) but also, storage of the matcha can effect taste whilst still not effecting it's potency, so it's a quality drop in flavour perhaps but not in the effects of true, high quality matcha, if that makes sense? I made it (as a matcha latte, was super smooth, bright green 💚 not bitter at all but a lil fishy), drank it and 15 minutes later I got the "oh, here we go, it's kicking in! Vision crystalline and feeling motivated to get EVERYTHING done" moment that vyvanse had given me 😭 but in a super healthy, no heart palpitations, mood lifted kinda way and I could honestly cry.. I've finally found my ADHD "med" that actually works for me! I know this review is super niche but if it can help even one other ADHDer that hasn't been able to find meds that work without awful side effects and struggles big time with motivation, getting started, mood, procrastinating, or just generally feeling overstimulated and fatigued/lethargic all the time, please but this matcha! 😭 I swear, the fishy smell can be masked because it was so subtle, kinda like less than seaweed subtle and for the positive effects it has given me ADHD wise, I sticking with this brand regardless because... HELLO! 😍✌🏽✨ Also for all saying "matcha is never gonna be as strong as coffee" peh!! I used to make mad-stribg coffee and drink 4, max size green monsters a day and one cup of this stuff with a heaped baby tea spoon in a slightly larger than average coffee mug puts both of my former methods to shame, mega strong. I won't be going back to coffee or energy drinks because I don't need to, this stuff is all the punch with none of the ill-effects. 🫡🔥✨

I have tried several matcha products on Amazon UK. This is the first one that felt like proper matcha, not just fake powdered green tea. It has good umami and froths well. Not as sweet as hand-picked matcha, but that’s fair for the price. Four stars.

Excellent product and often on sale! Not bitter but has an excellent and deep flavour. Great colour too! I have it as an usucha (tea) not a latte and it is incredible. It foams well!

Superb. Delicious. Looks good both as tea, ice cream and as a powdered flavouring accent lightly dusted over vanilla ice cream or pastries. Love the fragrance! Blends well. Love its purity. Doesnt keep me awake at night in terms of the caffeine content even if consumed in ice cream at super. I enjoy the taste and thats a good enough health benefit for me.

I’ve tried various Matcha’s and this is my favourite. It’s a lovely bright green colour, clean, fresh, smooth and delicious. I have had it on subscription for around 6 months now (after trying various brands), and appreciate the price varies up and down according to availability but not greed. I will continue to use for the foreseeable future.

I’ve been buying my matcha from Matchaeco for over a year as the matcha was reliably high quality and had a great rich taste and a smooth texture. This last batch, however, seems lower quality. The color looks artificially bright green compared to the last one and the texture is grainy and tastes chalky even if whisked thoroughly. I tried both side by side as I haven’t finished the previous batch yet and it’s not the same… Sad to be wasting a product.

I’ve tried a few different matcha powders, including some much more expensive ones, and this is honestly just as good. The colour is bright, it mixes really smoothly, and there’s no bitterness at all like you usually get in this price range. I make it with unsweetened almond milk in my milk frother and it comes out really creamy and comforting. It’s now part of my daily routine and feels like great value for the quality you get.
