How well do these conduct Hamon?

I would say it conducts hamon energy quite well, not as conductive as Water, it’s okay, but can’t defeat a pillar man.

do you still have friends after you send their kids home with these after a party?

Oh yeah, they love them. They're noisy, but lot's of fun. Send the kids outside.

Does the rubber split, like bouncing rubber balls (like the ball from "ball and jacks" toys)? Wikipedia has an article on original "Clackers"

These balls are the size of grapefruits, connected with a rope like string. The balls are made like bouncy ball that you get from a grocery store back in the day.
