No inside pockets. Start one size bigger if wearing over winter wear.
I would have given up a couple outside pockets for a couple inside ones. I started off ordering a large which was too small. I'm 200 lbs, 5' 10" - so I had to order an XL which still seems small if you're wearing it on the outside of a winter coat. If I had it to do over, I'd start with XXL and work down if I had to.
