Work great
These things work beautifully. They're a little hard to get in to the hose where you're clamping it but you want it to be that tight so it won't leak. The clamps are a little weak but they will hold up. If you prefer a more heavy-duty clamp they're cheap enough at Lowe's and any other place that you can replace the ones that come with it. The money they saved me I'm replacement hoses versus the money I spent on these pennies on the dollar.

Works well.
Originally got this to repair a garden hose but it is the wrong size. It is a nice product and I did find use for it in some drain lines.

They work, but may take some rigging
I recently used this connector with 5/8” soaker hose. Initially, I found it extremely difficult/impossible to push the hose onto the connector. But with a few tricks it became relatively easy. First I ground the end of a piece of wood/stick into cone shape. Second, I put a little oil on that cone shaped wood/stick. Third, I jammed the wood into the end of the soaker hose to expand/enlarge it slightly. Fourth, I wound teflon tape onto the connector (primarily to help seal the connection). Then I was able to easily push the hose onto the connector. The hose clamps provided withe the connectors got some poor quality reviews. Therefore, to be safe, I purchased extra (higher quality?.) steel hose clamps and used two additional clamps rather just the two hose clamps provided at each connection (Thus, I used a total of four clamps at each connection). Everything seems to be working.

Cheap hose clamps.
The connector itself was fine but the hose clamps are not great. I was connecting 2 different hoses. One side was very tight and barely needed a clamp at all. The other side was supposedly the same size but obviously a looser fit. The narrow host clamps couldn’t be tightened enough to stop water dripping past. If you tighten it the thin band stretches and the screw begins to jump. I had to go get regular hose clamps from a hardware store and then it worked.

Cheap. Go to Home Depot instead.
These hose clamps don't tighten enough to seal the fitting. They're so thin, they strip out. I had to use some I had from Home Depot.

Saves me money - easy fix for my cut hose.
Does the job. Save me money fixing my hose instead of throwing them away. I really need to stop mowing my hose - but this saves me.
