Great wet dry vac for the money
So I admit I got a little excited watching car detailing videos. The Detail Geek does such a good job that I began thinking that maybe I could grow up and do at least half as nice a job as he could. So I Googled around, read on reddit, and found a few options. But the Home Depot one most commonly suggested had some really poor reviews. And when I found this one, I saw it had good features and more horsepower, as well as happy reviews. The price was right, so I picked it up. It's going to do great with the car but at first I've used it in the house. I live in the south and it can get a little cobwebby pretty fast. After the zip through with the regular vacuum, I came along with this one. I used the extension tubes, two of them, plus the crevice tool, and was able to reach ceilings, corners, wood trim along the floor, and other hard to reach places with ease. The suction is great and the house looks nice. You have to screw on the four wheels, which is not really a big deal, one screw each. And I also found my crevice tool inside the actual vacuum. So you may have to take yours apart to find some extensions. That's not difficult. Just pop two clip handles off the side and then pull the motor and filter top off. It doesn't weigh much. As a matter of fact, the whole unit doesn't weigh much at all. It comes with a pretty good power cord that seems to be the same diameter as my heavy duty extension cord that I attached to it so I could roam around the entire house. The vacuum has a thick red handle mounted at the top that also folds down, and when you pull it up and lift the unit with it it's an easy chore. So far, I've enjoyed working with this vacuum a lot and the results on the house have been effective. Will take it out to the car when it stops raining. But given the suction that I've seen so far inside it won't have any problem getting me towards Detail Geek results.

Powerful and Versatile unit for a home shop or garage
While I already have a couple of shop vacs, my main one I frequently leave connected to my table saw. And changing the hose between the saw and the regular extended hose I use for general cleaning was proving to be too tedious as I have aged. The large 2-1/4inch hose and the associated nozzles were awkward to use to get into smaller places like under and around my workbenches and the smaller crevices of my other power saws and CNC equipment. So I began looking around for a versatile and cost effective smaller vacuum and found this unit. So far, it has exceeded my expectations for value, strength, and utility. It is stable dragging around my shop, not tipping over or catching on the various corners of other shop equipment. And it is powerful, easily picking up metal shavings from both drilling and tinsmithing activities along with the usual dust, wood chips, and saw dust. The fact that it can be used as a leaf blower as well I haven't really tried yet. But the fact that you can do that with it is a plus. It's Fall as I write this so I'll be trying it out as a blower soon. It has a convenient carry handle that folds out allowing for two-handed control of the included blower tube. More on that when I finally use it that way. Overall a well made unit with all the features of a larger shop vac but with the perqs of smaller size and the ability to be a handheld leaf blower as well. I suspect the fact that it's powerful as a vacuum will serve it well as a smaller area leaf blower as well as for clearing dirt and dust from gardening activities.

It Sucks And It Blows....Great Little Vac!
I would first like to say that I have owned a Vacmaster professional 8 gallon shampooing system for 5 years now which I also use as a shop vac between shampoo jobs at my business and it has impressive suction and is reliable so I feel comfortable saying this is a reliable/durable brand. I was at my parents and noticed they were struggling while cleaning up their garage....their old shop vac lost a bearing and damaged the motor a while back so they were just using a broom and dust pan. That same day, dad was talking about getting a new leaf blower and that reminded me of a shop vac with blower configurations I had seen in the past so I started looking secretly for something like that and ran across this vac. Out of the box, this is a fantastic vacuum, it has very strong suction and like how the hose twist locks into position. It comes with three wands and a squeegee/brush and a crevice attachment that both seem to work well and the wands give you enough length so you don't have to bend over to work if you are tall. It's also not very loud and unit itself is light weight making it easy to move around The leaf blower mode is very easy to convert and it moves a lot of air as well. One of the things I like about the vacmaster products is the cartridge filter design, it seals really well on the lip of the vacuum which is something lacking on other brands I have used....always tend to get a lot of dust passing through with the other machine but not with Vacmaster. The foam filter for wet pickup is also a better design...it is closed at one end and fits on the machine like a sock rather than being open at both ends with gaps to suck trash through blades. DRAWBACKS: Only drawbacks to this particular vacuum is it has a really short cord so I would recommend buying a extension cord if you don't already have one. I was hoping it would have a wider diameter hose. Since it has the leaf blower option, the larger diameter hose would have made it ideal for use in the yard sucking up piles of leaves and twigs....it still has enough water lift to power through leaves but diameter of hose makes it less desirable for that sort of work as it will take much longer and possibly clog with thick twigs. I will add that the hose is a good length and flexibility is nice. It would have also been nice if this vac came with a upholstery tool, this would have made it ideal for vacuuming out the cars...all you have is the crevice tool which is nice but the floor brush/squeegee tool is really too large for car floor boards. OVERALL RESULTS: I think it's a great little vacuum for the price. It has fantastic suction water lift, nice hose length great filter sealing, and very useful leaf blower conversion. Note: I installed a paper bag made by Shop-Vac in this machine just to help the cartridge filter lifespan and they fit perfectly in this vacuum. I used the bags made for 8 gallon and no problems with the 6 gallon tank.

This is for the US, it is not compatible for the UK. I had to buy a separate adapter converter which cost over £100 and it still does not work unfortunately.

Whoever designed this vacuum/blower combo really put some thought into it. The fact that this is a 2-in-1 Wet Dry Shop Vacuum AND Leaf Blower is awesome and reduces the need to buy and store 2 large items. It claims to be 5HP which is in the upper power range for these types of devices but I have no way to test, however both sucking and blowing functions great.. very powerful. The way the motor attaches and disengages with the base is solid and is easy to manage, the plastic is of high quality and has a slight textured finish that in comfortable provides good grip. It does not tip over easily when pulled around and the wheels work fine. I'm not going to dock a star for this, but this would be even better if ALL the attachments could be stored on the canister itself. The smaller brush end and nozzle do fit into the top of the legs, but the hose and blower wand do not. If they were to ever redesign this maybe there is a way to keep everything together.. but honestly I am really nit picking. The price was very reasonable and I can easily recommend this.. I regularly use this on my condo's patio/gardens, car detailing, and whenever I have a DIY project around the house. Unless you are a contractor/professional or have a serious shop, anything more is probably overkill.

Great vacuum and extremely well designed. I like that there are places on the vacuum to store each attachment, someone was really thinking when they designed this. The conversion to leaf blower is super easy and very powerful. The suction is more then adequate for my garage projects and it has a good assortment of attachments. Overall I'm very impressed with this vacuum. The reviews I read online helped me choose this one and I am not disappointed! Highly recommend it.

I love it. Works great. Has alot of attachments. And turns into a handy lil leaf 🌿 blower too. I purchased two other shop facts and they were supposed to be top of the line at home Depot and I'm telling you this shop fact is the best gadget I've ever bought I absolutely love it I'm so in love with it the only thing I would like is to have a longer cord and maybe a bit longer longer brush at the bottom like for the attachment but besides that I am in so in love with it and I can't wait until next fall to use it as a leaf blower so excited I absolutely love this if I could give it a million stars I would
