EV Charger Port Cover, Electric Car Charger Plug Cover, Outdoor Waterproof Winter Snow Rain UV All-Weather Protection, Magnetic Attachment, Suitable for Steel-Bodied Electric Vehicles

So far this has worked perfectly for my Tesla Model 3. It fits around the charge port nicely while still allowing it to open fully as long as it is positioned correctly. It has done an excellent job of protecting the charge port from the elements. If I had any complaint, it would be that it's sometimes difficult to position it to adhere to the contour of the car. I'm not really sure what the fix would be for that other than something that was a dedicated molded piece specifically for this car but it does work. I live where we get some pretty nasty weather, we've had about a week and a half of snow and ice storms and below zero (Farenheight) temps. I had set my car to defrost a couple days during this week and a half, but then change my mind on leaving. Didn't really consider that that might create some ice issues. And this still held up, even with me doing questionable defrosting activities with my car lol I've added two pictures to this review. One showing snow and ice buildup on the cover and around the cover. There was a 10-inch icicle hanging from it last night that I knocked off before realizing that would have been a nice photo to add. Still, even with all this, the snow, the ice, melting the snow above the charge port and having no ice or water get into the charge port speaks very highly for this. In the picture you can see that the charge ports completely clear. I've done this before without the cover and I'd be chipping ice out of the charge port for a few minutes trying to get to close. Just looking at the photos, gives you an idea just how long my car had been sitting here, and the trunk you can see that is ice that has built up away from the trunk lid. So I'd definitely done this a couple times.

Fits nicely, easy to use, decent quality. Seems durable so far. Saw this recommended on Reddit because of issues with the actuator on some Volkswagen ID4s, which is an issue mine is currently having. This helps keep the rain and snow out of that area, which is a huge plus in the Pacific Northwest. Very functional product.

Product looks well made, magnets are ridged but form up well, looks like product would work great. However it wont stick to the charge port of my 2022 Chevy Bolt. I believe the magnets are either too weak or the panels surrounding the charge port are plastic. good concept wish it came with suction cups as well will have to modify it myself to make it work. Best of luck to everybody else out there, very disappointed it didn't workout out of the box.

I use this for my charger and the magnetic is superb and keeps the frost, rain and dirt off from the charger and car but the velcro needs to redesigned i think 🤔, maybe a pull on thick string would be better to close and tie down the opening better

Works great, especially for the value. I'm in a temporary living situation where I'm parked outside 24/7 and this, combined with an outdoor cable box from menards and 12 guage weather-proof extension cord, has been exactly what I need to keep charging. It's been used in the rain a couple times now, and even a small storm with no issues. It does a good job of keeping the rain out and the magnetic connection is strong. I have noticed some water gets past the magnetic contact (not a perfect seal), but it hasn't been enough to be of concern and the charge connection / area around the plug-in has always been dry so far.

Bought this to protect my charger from ice buildup in the cold weather, and I discovered that the magnet part which is covered in fabric - is leaving scratches in the paint of my car. Once winter comes around, I will be parking my EV in the garage, but for now it's outside. I wouldn't recommend this item if you're concerned about scratches in the paint. My star rating rubric: 5 stars - perfect, keeping this item 4 stars - good purchase, but has flaws 3 stars - okay purchase, has flaws, works for the most part, but not thrilled 2 stars- mostly works, but returned 1 star- doesn’t work for my needs, broke, returned it, inaccurate description, absolute garbage, or 3rd party seller

Stayed put during a rain storm and kept the plug nice and dry! Lifesaver.
