Very well designed and constructed - not compatible with NVMe mount
I recently outgrew a GeeekPi 6-Layers Raspberry Pi Cluster Case which served me well for a few years. After doing a little research I chose this design for its accessibility and modularity. It is very easy to mount your pi boards and connect your front-facing USB and ethernet cables; a little tedious connecting power and micro-hdmi but it's possible. At the same time I have been outfitting some new Pi 5s with Samsung NVMe 980s using the base from Pimoroni (also well designed and released before the official Raspberry NVMe base). Unfortunately with the Pimoroni mounted below the raspberry, the ethernet and top 2 USBs are no longer accessible. Because I hate waste, I am probably going to dremel out a bit of the harness, but thought this might help people and maybe UCTRONICS can design a model that will work with the NVMe bases. Update: here's a picture showing where I dremeled out a small portion of the housing face to gain access to the front ethernet port. Bottom row has my Pi 5s with NVMe base and top row has Pi 4s without.

NVMe and/or PoE HATs Will Not Fit
Overall great product. I'm writing the review I needed to see before purchasing this. Fits non-HAT pis great. I got this product knowing that the GeeekPi P33 M.2 NVME M-Key PoE+ Hat rpi5 I'm have was going be close fit. There are multiple fit issues: that header pins, a capacitor, and what I assume is the transformer on the GeeekPi HAT are too tall to clear the top of the rack mount holder. They will also extend slightly above the 1U height. The screw down retaining clip of the NVMe and a capacitor both stick out too far to the front preventing the pi from screwing down into the holder. I already had all the parts and decided to "make it fit." See the attached photos. I still have the problem of it sticking up above the 1U space allocated for the rack mount, but I'm just going to have to get creative with it's placement in the rack where it has some headroom. Learn from my hubris. Don't try this with this brand of NVME/PoE HAT. But if you try it anyway, see photos on how to make it work.

Great rack. Small issue.
The rack is well made but I had one small issue. The scre holes on the rack were filled with powder coating. Luckily I have a tap and die set so I re-tapped the holes and now it is perfect. This may present an issue for buyers who don't have access to the same tools I do.

Great product for the rack mounting RaspberryPi
I only have two out of the four mounted so far, but this thing is great for mounting RaspberryPi computers. I also bought the UCTRONICS Micro SD to Micro SD Card Male to Female Flexible Extender to complete the package. Have not had any issues. If you need to rack mount your RaspberryPi this it it.

Quality rack mount product
This is a quality product! It is made out of a thick sheet of steel, so there is no flexing or bowing. The parts are accurately cut and bent, there is no excess slack or wobble. Everything fits together nicely. And lastly, the paint, or power coat, is done nicely, a nice thick coat with no scratches, or defects. The people who made this took pride in their product. This isn't just some cheaply made sheet metal thing. This is a well manufactured and engineered product.

Some of the 'drawers' required flexing to fit the Raspberry Pis in the rack
This is a great product; I would strongly recommend you ground it to your rack and whatever the rack is grounded to. I've been able to front a small 1U shelf with this and keep my Raspberry Pis elevated for improved airflow. I can also cable manage the front of the mount/rack to keep everything organized.

Cheapest on the market but still too much.
It does what it says, however for the size that it is and the build quality with it sagging slightly with 4 raspberry pi installed in the rack leaves more to be desired. The screenprinting is also realatively poor quality and the oils from my hands and just minimally touching it while installing has smeared the text already. The spring loaded thumb screws do work as intended and I have removed a pi or two a number of times to rearange them and I have not had issues with any of the treads. I would have been more fine with the price if the metal would have been thicker and the screen printing better as at least the quality would have justified the price.

Does exactly what it is intended to do
If you are after a simple, no frills 19" rack to mount your Raspberry Pi's this is it. Each Pi is mounted on a frame for individual removal and insertion. The rack is not enclosed at the back so open to dust etc (no problem for me). Solid build quality too. I could complain about the price but let's face it, a cheap Pi rack is a thing of pure fiction.

I recently purchased the 1U rack mount for my Raspberry Pi, and while I appreciate the excellent build quality, I can’t help but feel it’s a bit on the expensive side. The materials are solid, and it fits my Raspberry Pi perfectly, providing a clean and organized look in my rack setup. The installation was straightforward, and the design allows for proper ventilation, which is crucial for keeping the Raspberry Pi cool during operation. It also has enough space for additional accessories, making it versatile for various projects. However, considering the price, I expected a few more features or inclusions, like extra mounting hardware or cable management options. While it does the job well, I think it could offer better value for the cost. Overall, if you’re looking for a high-quality rack mount and don’t mind spending a bit more, this is a solid choice. Just be prepared for the higher price tag!
