Can I use this to sewing with another fabric? If gets wet will resist?

Hi, the question is not clear and this is a generic answer. I don't believe that this is an ideal product outside the use for which it is designed: being attached to a flat surface. There is no indication about how it would behave if wet.

Would this work as a dashboard cover in a car? Would it stay and hold up to wind with the windows down?

I think it might stick and hold with the windows down. But I don't know how it will fit its shape to the curvy shape of the dashboard...., I don't know what the heat will do to the adhesive through time...., And every bit of dust will show on the velvety background... I don't think it is a practical idea.....

Thin, just under 1/16 inch or about 1.25 mm. I used to line some trays. Was just what I wanted.
