DC Comics Superheroes: Superman Costume T-Shirt With Cape for Adults

I was a little skeptical to buy this for my husband but it was perfect simple "costume" for Halloween and it fit perfect, colors we're vibrant and no complaints at all! We have not washed it but I can understand if washed, design may fade like others said but really only needed it for a party and Halloween night..so for the price it's perfect buy!

Got this for my husband for Halloween as we just finished all 10 seasons of Smallville (!) and were going as Lois and Clark. He loved it so much he started wearing it around as an everyday shirt. The cape has 2 velcro attachments so it can be removed, but it is a little thin and probably should not be washed, but the shirt is great, fit him well (does not run big or small) and can be washed just like a regular cotton shirt.

These costume shirts are super cute but run small. I usually wear a medium, ordered a large and it’s still a little snug.

We used this for a play that called for a character to wear a Superman costume he had made himself. We decided he would have ordered this shirt. The short cape on the back is hilarious. He wore skinny jeans, and I made boots from red duct tape. The whole effect was very funny. (To make the boots - wear long socks and simply tape, overlapping layers, everywhere from the toe to just under the knee. Then cut down the back to take it off. Add a couple of inches of tape, folding it over, on one side of the back. We simply trimmed the excess tape and re-taped the back for every performance. The actor loved them so much, he took them home!)

This Superman costume delivers solid value for occasional use like Halloween or costume parties, but temper your expectations for quality. The core concept – a printed tee with a detachable Velcro cape – is clever and convenient for quick dressing. The detachable cape is genuinely a great feature, making storage and wear much easier. However, significant quality issues are unavoidable: 1. Sizing runs small – definitely order at least one size up. 2. Print durability is poor – the iconic Superman logo began peeling after just one wash 3. Construction feels flimsy – stitching ripped apart during normal wear at a party While the low price makes it tempting for one-time events, it’s clearly not built to last. If you need a costume for multiple uses or active play, invest in a sturdier option. That said, for a $20-$25 costume worn once? It’s functional enough that I’d buy it again – just know you’re paying for the idea of Superman, not a durable garment.

Upon receiving this shirt, everything looked great before I opened the clear plastic bag that contained it. However, upon opening it, I immediately got wind of an absolutely horrid chemical smell. It seems that the factory in Honduras where these shirts are made clearly has some sort of hazardous or at the very least aggravating chemical seepage issue. The entire shirt reeks of a strong industrial pollutant. Even after washing the shirt, not only did the stench remain, but it smelled up the entire washing machine for several loads afterwards. Additionally, the shirt began flaking and fading its logo after a single wash. The cape's velcro is also barely attached, so be prepared to sew it back on yourself or simply just forget about it. Overall, I believe I can honestly and truly say that this is the single worse piece of clothing that I have ever and possibly will ever purchase or wear in my entire life.

I bought this for a skit at school and the price was right! It fit true to size. I liked that the cape could be removed if you wanted. It was fun to use without having to buy a complete Superman costume at a much higher price.

This T-shirt was very colorful, meaning the colors were bold and vivid. The cape is detachable with just Velcro and the length was great. My son loved this shirt. I'd recommend this seller.

La camiseta es muy grande para la talla q corresponde, tuve q cambiar una XL por una L y la L por una M. La camiseta es bonita pero me parece que el precio es elevado para lo q realmente es, una camiseta, aunque si le quitas la capa te puede servir para el uso diario.

Il s'agit d'un tee-shirt avec une cape qui peut se retirée. Les couleurs sont un peu criardes mais bon sympa pour les adultes qui veulent se déguiser sans trop en faire...
