I use this frying pan all the time! It's kept its non-stick very well simply by washing in hot water with a chainmail scrubber and a quick re-season heating up oil till it just reaches smoking point, switching off and wiping off any excess oil. So, easy to clean, easy to use, lightweight compared to cast iron but works just as well, and good value for money!

Great pan. Not as heavy as the cast iron but has enough weight to it not to topple over on the gas hob.

Carbon steel frying pan
I love this pan, only used it 4 times, but marks are appearing on surface it's not rust and I am seasoning it after each use, so far anyway lol, are the marks that are appearing normal I would like to know what others think.

Nice weight, cooks evenly
Bought this a s a gift for a young lady. It has a nice heft to it, the heat disperses evenly so cooks great. Don't mind a fried egg but would hate a whack on the head with it.

worst pan i ever had
after first use the center of the pan just bouble up so all oil is only on the sides of the pan. the center heats but no oil so things stick and the sides not really heated so things don't cook properly.

First impression is AWESOME!
This is my first experience with a carbon steel skillet. Following the instructions, I thoroughly washed it with hot and soapy water using a soft sponge. Next, I turned on the hob to medium-high heat waited two minutes and added half a tablespoon of butter. Once the butter stopped bubbling, I cracked the egg into the pan. As the egg set, it slid effortlessly across the pan. Afterward, I wiped the pan with a paper towel, and voila! It was spotless. So far, I'm quite happy with the results. I hope I can maintain it in this condition.

Très bonne poêle qui chauffe rapidement et n'attache pas et offre une cuisson professionnelle. Bien sur il ne faut pas la laver avec du SAVON ! Elle ne rouille pas si elle bien graissée ( assaisonnée) ....

This pan is fantastic. I was expecting it to be far less non-stick than it is, simply because I’m used to cooking with cast iron. This pan is much more non-stick than a new cast iron pan! I think most of the negative reviews are either people who didn’t read the instructions or people expecting it to be like a Teflon coated pan. You can certainly cook foods without them sticking, but you do need some form of oil or butter. I haven’t tried eggs yet, but I’m sure they’ll work well too with the right preparation. The first thing I cooked was salmon and it turned out super well! I started by heating the oil at 4 (induction) and moved up to about 6 after cooking the salmon for a couple minutes. It turned out fantastically juicy. Cleanup was also incredibly easy - just wipe away the oil. No lingering fish smell. Not a single point where the fish burned or stuck to the pan. It’s also a trustworthy, long-lasting company. If you want to ditch the consumerism of Teflon pans that you have to throw away within a few years, but aren’t willing to compromise your non-stick ease with a stainless steel pan, then this is the right pan for you! This pan will last many generations!

Lo que he aprendido es que debemos usar la temperatura correcta dependiendo de si el sartén es de teflón, aluminio, acero inoxidable o hierro. Este sartén se debe lavar y secar bien antes de guardarlo (no se debe remojar ni dejar con agua mucho tiempo porque se oxida, lo cual es normal). Tampoco hay que usar alimentos ácidos como tomate (jitomate) o limón, para no afectar el recubrimiento que se va formando con cada uso. Es un excelente sartén!
