Good bang for the buck
These headphones rock! A bit heavy, but they are studio grade, I only ever had just basics. The sound is great, they totally block out outside noise, I use them on my laptop. Good quality, sturdy, and price is very good. Ya can't go wrong!

Best upgrade Iโve ever made
Sounds amazing, I really got picky with my music but this satisfies me thoroughly, I still want to get an amp to push the lows a bit more otherwise fantastic bang for the buck and they are comfortable.

Wide range and very well made.
Very well made headphones and incredible sound range and also extremely good at isolating outside noise.

Great Headphones for Podcast Monitoring
I purchased two of the studio headsets and have a few points to make. The reason for the 4 star vs 5 star review is mostly because of the branding visuals. I do my podcast on video and it's distracting with the bright white name on the headband and logos on the side. If only those were muted a bit. I ended up using a paint pen for the headband. I'm ok with the side logos. The only other downside to these is the coiled cord. I know people love them but they are so frustrating to me. I am running these only a few feet from a mixer, under my desk (to not be on the controls) to behind by shoulder and to my head (so it doesn't show up on video). It doesn't reach. I've started taping a piece to the desk and stretching it to my head but it pulls back on me. I'll be looking for a better cord option. Aside from that, amazing headsets. They are incredibly comfortable after several hours of wear at a time, quality is pretty solid overall but the sound quality is great. Not too bassy, not too bland. I feel that what I'm hearing is an accurate representation of what the mixer is putting out and being recorded. I had this paired with a Maonocaster and everything worked great. I've since upgraded to a Yamaha MGX12V. Also pairs well. One thing to note, the noise cancellation is pretty solid. I have a co-host that I can't hear when wearing the headphones so I monitor from the mixer. She's roughly 6 feet away from me. All in all, great budget headphones. Can't go wrong with them. Image attached that shows the headphones on the bottom right. The mixer is at arms length from me while sitting. So you can see why I'm annoyed with the cord situation. It's not far. Now if Maono can just come out with a shadow headset without the white branding... OR they want to sponsor my podcast and I'll flaunt those logos all day long. ๐

Decently flat, decently built, decently comfortable
Iโm was fairly impressed even though I expected good things. Maono is a real up and comer in the budget audio world and these headphones hit their mark. The response if fairly flat. The bass is rather thin, itโs there but doesnโt pack as much of a punch as you would expect on mx30s or mx40s. The ear cups are round, but they are large enough to go over my ear without causing any discomfort. The build feels solid. They are all plastic, including the adjustment band, but thatโs not a problem for me. Metal adjustment bands are worth anything if their attaching plastic piece fails (looking at the Audio Technia line with that one) The included cable and screw on adapters are machined nice and fit well into everything Iโve plugged them into. They do require some burn in, so donโt judge them right away. Right out of the box they mids and highs were harsh and the bass was pretty much absent. After some burn in (about 2 weeks of regular use) they sound like completely different headphones. Impressively smooth for the price point. Would definitely recommend them for someone who just needs a cheap pair for tracking and listening for details on solo tracks.

Great Value with a couple of minor issues
When I purchased these headphones to quietly practice guitar, I never knew how much I'd end up enjoying these headphones for any application. They provide good, neutral sound quality for lower price than expected, offer good ear and head comfort for long spans of use time, and have great room for many applications due to their sleek look and ease of use. A couple issues I've run into would be cable slipping from the female audio jack in the headphones, and the earmuffs are breaking down and flaking. These problems could be attributed to age, but it is an indication to the expected lifetime. Overall, I'm very pleased with these studio headphones. They come with quality sound and excellent sound stage and clarity for a cheap price, which is the main reason I purchased in the first place. Good job Maono!

Basshead DJ headphones. NOT Equalizer-APO friendly.
This DJ headset is only useful if youโre a basshead. This is not for enjoying the musical detail with the highest frequencies. I used this product by driving it by the tube amps connected with a solid amp and my DAC, but the audio is not as sharp as the AmazonBasics DJ headphones. So I switched to the Amazon product. But months later, one channel of my AmazonBasics headphones wore out like plastic-wrap wrinkles as it was punching heavy levels of low-frequency bass notes, killing the driver (Levels were manipulated virtually using Equalizer APO on my PC with multiple settings of Peaking Filter around 34Hz at 30 db and Low Shelf at the highest levels of 50hz with additional high High Shelf Filter levels (I donโt remember), and with another additional set of raised levels of lowest frequencies at a variable-band equalizer controls that all of that caused the heavy-punching channel to wear out gradually and made it incredibly unenjoyable and less audible). So at the same time after the Amazon headset died, I had these Kuno (?) (I canโt get to the brandโs name of the product on this review while Iโm reviewing) headset as a spare to enjoy the punching bass. Guess what....??? This headset has also died with one channel wearing out again like a plastic-wrap wrinkle. So Iโm currently using my Hi-Res clip monitor earbuds. Their feel and audio quality is amazing but the clipped earbuds make me uncomfortable for little long wear while being clipped at my ears. So I will try to get a Hi-Res Pioneer headset or a HIFIMAN product instead.

At first I was bit sceptical that there can be amazing sound for such price. I thought it will be good, but almost 1000 positive reviews really gave me hope. When these headphones arrived, I could see the packaging is where the money has been saved (simple box and a wrap) and Im personally fine of not having the fancy packaging (less waist too). But when I took headphones in my hands, I understood they are built from high quality plastic and the packaging has nothing to do with the build quality. -Build Quality- Is amazing. Very well built, sturdy plastic, super soft ear pieces, covers the ear completely and doesnt press on it. All cables, connections and related things are on point. -The Sound- Okay, I am truly shocked how amazing these headphones sound. The performance is unbelievable. No matter how high you turn the volume, the sound doesnt get mushy or choppy - it stays clear. Bass? wow - unbelievable base due to the 50mm drivers. Also the sound is very well balanced out of the box, not the bass nor treble takes over the sound. Perfect sound. -Price Performance- I don't believe you can get better sounding headphones anywhere near this price. Not even under 100$. They just are incredibly good and for this price its a steal. I am very happy with them.
