Moyishi Chinese Porcelain Gaiwan Floral Dragon Tradition Sancai Tea Cup Tea Set Best Gift (Black Dragon)

This is the first time I have purchased a Gaiwan tea cup set. The craftsmanship of this set is superb. I am very pleased with it. The set looks like the picture and is the size that was specified. The painting is lovely and the quality of the porcelain is very good. The only thing I will say is that the set is not dark blue, but more of a green. It is shown as green in the picture, however. I am happy with it regardless, and would purchase from this company again.

I've had several gaiwans and this one has become my favorite. It has a great design, is sturdy, the size is great for one or even two smaller cups and the price is reasonable. I would recommend and would buy from this company again.

Beautiful tea piece

This is a nicely made gaiwan. The decorations are attractive and the porcelain is good quality. My only issue is that it is a classical size, a fairly small capacity. If I make tea in it, it will fill a mug halfway. But it makes great tea and the cover serves to keep it warm and as a strainer.

This is my first gaiwan, and I wasn't expecting it to be so finely crafted for the inexpensive price. The walls of the cup are not too thick, but it seems pretty sturdy. The design is lovely and it fits well in my small hands without being awkward or cumbersome. It was shipped in a very secure package (each piece wrapped in either bubble wrap or newspaper, then a box, then bubble wrap around the box with an enormous red "fragile" sticker on the side). Overall, I'm pretty impressed.

I saw an item in a TV Series. I thought is was pretty, when I searched for this style, and saw this very, very similar color and pattern, I ordered it. In appearance, it is better than the photos. It is gorgeous! Like porcelain it is sheer. I feel very special when I drink my Jasmine tea. I recently ordered another set and I am seeking the tea pot in the same porcelain pattern.

This product, although pretty, came broken and since it was a gift , I attempted to exchange or return. Unfortunately that did not seem to be an option.

The lid and/or vessel aren't perfectly round leaving a tiny gap that a tea leaf occasionally may slip through when pouring, but it isn't a big deal, and I like the product. Some of the glaze is metallic as I found out when I tried to microwave a beverage that had cooled off too much. NOT microwaveable! Capacity is less than the standard cup of tea I'm accustomed to. The gaiwan concept works great and the vessel cleans up quickly and easily. Clasping the assembly with fingers underneath and thumb on the lid I can filter out the leaves while pouring tea avoiding the need for a strainer.
