Great perch....missing end cap.
Great product....I like that it holds it's shape...not floppy. The only problem I have is that one of the screw-on end caps is missing! I tried to go thru amazon process for missing parts....but the only solution is to return the item and have them reship another! All I need is an end cap! I actually ordered 2 more of the perches in a size large , so yes, I like the product, and my parrot seems to like the softer perch! Would have been nice to have the missing medium size end cap shipped along with my latest purchase....but there seems to be no way to do this. So I'm adding it to this comment in case it might be seen by the seller!

Well made. Great product
So far I have bought probably 6-7 rope perches from this seller for our Blue & Gold Macaw. They are well made, no sharp ends and have nice big end caps that fit nicely on the large bars of his cage. Depending on how determined he is to shred them, 😂, the perches last anywhere from a week to several months. I’m ordering 2 more today!

Awesome Bird Perch, Wrap it in Vet tape first.
I’ve been buying this bird perch for years and highly recommend it. It’s important to wrap it with Vet Wrap, as birds can tear it apart and may accidentally ingest the string. Durability will vary depending on the bird, but with proper care, it typically lasts around two years or even longer. It’s much more comfortable for birds’ feet compared to standard perches.

Must have for my flock!
Must have for my flock! My flock loves this and it lasts! I have a Macaw, Congo African Gray, Eclectus, Amazon, and a Cockatoo. There is one in each cage and play stand we have!!

Good product overall, but sometimes missing the screw caps
I'm disappointed the 14" size is no longer available. That is the one I used the most. I've ordered several of these over the years, in various sizes, and in almost 25% of the shipments at least one of them is missing one or both of the plastic screw caps. Granted, they can fall off inside the box, but most of the time they are just "missing". I always save the ones from perches I am replacing, knowing this will likely happen. That aside, the quality seems consistent and I've never had an issue with the material fraying, becoming untwisted, etc., and compared to other brands these do seem 'softer' and easier to bend. They are sometimes difficult to find, even in pet stores, so overall I'd recommend them just for the sake of availability.

Wrap these with vet wrap for bird safety
I got one large and two small of these rope perches for my budgie (parakeet) who now has a disabled leg. He needs a way to climb more since his landing skills aren’t as good, and I wanted to provide a softer surface for his good leg since it’s getting most of the pressure now. I installed the two smaller rope perches in a half circle around his food and water dishes so he has an easy landing/perching surface for eating and drinking. The long rope perch runs from the bottom of the left side of the cage up to the top of the right side, and it’s not a small cage. He also has several wood perches and a couple of platforms to choose from. I see him sitting on the long rope perch quite often. The most important thing with rope perches for any bird is to wrap them with vet wrap. When they’re brand new they’re fine, but with wear and tear, especially if your bird chews on them, strings will start to come loose. These strings can wrap around a toe, leg, or even a neck, trapping your bird and causing injury or death. There have been many cases of birds ingesting the rope fibers after chewing on the rope perch—this will cause an expensive vet bill, as the fibers get impacted in the bird’s crop, requiring surgery, or the bird will die. By wrapping the perch in vet wrap you protect your bird from these loose strings. If your bird is an avid chewer, like my caique, vet wrap may not be enough and a rope perch may not be the best choice. For birds like my budgie though, who doesn’t chew very much, it can be made to be very safe. Now onto the quality of the rope perch. I’ve owned a few rope perches in the past. This brand seems to be just as good of quality as any others I’ve owned. They were easy to install, even with my hands being not all that strong. I love that they’re bendable and they will hold whatever shape you put them in. They are hard to clean, but again if you wrap them in vet wrap, the vet wrap is somewhat easier to clean and you can just remove it and rewrap when they get too dirty. Overall they seem pretty durable and I expect them to last a long time.

Fantastic.
This rope is huge and the materials are better than the others I have been buying. I will be buying again. This is a beat rope perch for birds on Amazon.

Rope length is not long enough for the width of the bird cage
