About the item

Add more power to the 2011-2014 F150 'Coyote' with V8-5.0L engine by installing the new 'Race Only' twisted steel headers. These headers feature a 1-5/8 inch mandrel-bent tuned length primary tubes that will out-flow the stock cast manifolds by 46 percent. These headers are built using 409 stainless and thick 3/8 flanges for a leak-free seal. They designed the headers to incorporate a merge collector (header collector). A merge collector combines high flow and velocity to increase and broaden the engines torque curve, while reducing turbulences that are found in traditional form collectors. When combined with the off-road or catted y-pipes performance gains are increased as much as 10HP and 20 lbs. x feet of torque over the stock manifolds and factory y-pipe. Factory ing locations: These headers retain your stock catalytic converters and are a direct bolt-on installation which requires no cutting or drilling to provide a hassle-free installation. Mitered collectors decrease turbulence and increases exhaust velocity. The result is increased horsepower, torque and improved throttle response. Heavy duty flanges: Thick flanges prevent warpage to ensure a leak-free seal over the life of the vehicle. aFe headers are engineered and manufactured in Corona, California manufacturing facility. Note: This is a 'Race Only' product used solely for competition. Its use is limited to closed-course and open-course racing that is formally sanctioned by a recognized racing organization. Any other use including recreational off-road use could be in violation of local, state and federal laws. A check engine light will emit and aFe recommends using a programmer but it is not necessary.
