Netis WF2119 Wireless N150 Long-Range USB Adapter, Supports Windows, Mac OS, Linux, 5dBi High Gain Antennas

The wireless card on my 2011 Sandy Bridge iMac died, so I ordered this. I was expecting it to a be a huge pain to set up and to be unreliable but have been pleasantly surprised. I plugged in the dongle to a powered USB hub, downloaded the Yosemite drivers from the Netis website, ran the installer package, and restarted my computer. Upon loading my desktop, there was a new application in the Dock. I ran it, found my wireless network, and haven't had to mess with anything since then. The only complaint I have is that a pointless icon appeared in the Menu Bar, but I used Bartender to hide it.

Installation is easy. Good wifi reception and range.

Works perfect and was easy to setup. The signal strength is always high and the antennae is strategically positioned out of the way. Highly recommend if you need a Wifi adapter...get this one. You'll love it.

It is a bit finicky, blocks usb ports, and seems to randomly disconnect from time to time. It's good for a cheap wi-fi reciever, but I'd go with something higher quality. EDIT: Do NOT use this device. The drivers it uses had a resource leak that contributed to my computer slowing down. Use this at your own risk.

The round connector that holds the antenna to the usb part of the receiver needs to have a positive type of locking mechanism so that it stays in a locked position instead of having to continually tighten it.

Works most of the time. Randomly loses connection and requires a restart or reboot. Kind of clunky looking and I worry it will snap off but it was cheap and served its purpose.

Marginally better reception. May gadget out with it and use it for a future project

Usb Wi-Fi adapter worked as expected, have two of them and they surpassed my expectations, price is very competitive and software installs easy.

Había adquirido un Dongle Wifi, pero necesitaba uno con antena para una futura expansión este me pareció perfecto y del precio no me puedo quejar, funciona perfecto en todos los sistemas operativos, y va de maravilla en una Raspberry Pi 2 no me quejo de nada es excelente.

Tiene muy buen alcance y no necesita driver o algo, sólo la conectas a un puerto usb y listo, reconoce las señales inalámbricas, y en cuanto a velocidad y estabilidad, nunca se ha caído o desconectado la señal de WiFi. El único problema es que es algo grande y queda muy ajustada con el puerto USB de a lado además si la conectó en la parte trasera de gabinete, la antena apunta hacia el suelo, pero puedo hacer que apunte al costado. Pero por el precio y el alcance que logra tener es buena compra

Excelente adaptador inalámbrico y compatible con todo!, incluso con Raspbian (raspberry pi), no requiere absolutamente ninguna configuración, ni en Linux. Muy veloz y excelente rango von la antena externa. Altamente recomendable. Mencioné que es muy económica?
